What Winners Wear conducts research similar items selling, photographsitems, measures & describes items accurately, answers questions frompotential buyers, collects funds and packages & ships items safely and efficiently.
The contract period begins the day that the items appear in the store. I fully under- stand the sale option I have chosen: A) sell item at stated starting price with no reserve (insertion fee $3.00) B) sell item with reserve price (item won't sell unless reserve is met. Insertion fee $4.00 minimum. May be more, depending on reserve dollar amount. C) sell item at stated starting price with a "buy it now" option (Insertion fee is $5.00)
I agree to pay insertion fees plus 35% of the selling price on the item at the end of the sale to What Winners Wear. Insertion/processing fees are non-refundable whether the items sell or not. I understand that in order to re-list items that do not sell in the contract period, I must pay an additional insertion/processing fee for each item. I WILL RECEIVE 65% OF ITEM'S SELLING PRICE (less insertion/processing fees).
Checks for sold items are usually generated at the beginning of the month. At the end of the contract period (usually 90 days), I will receive a final statement detailing any unsold items. THEN, I have the option to: 1) relist the items under a new contract plus insertion/processing fees 2) pick up the items within 30 days of final invoice date (items may also be shipped back to me at my expense) 3) request that unsold items be donated to a charitable organization (4-H, therapeutic riding center, Salvation Army, etc.) and send me the tax write-off.
If I fail to pay the insertion/processing fees, I understand that unsold items will not be released until all fees are paid in full. I will notify WhatWinnersWear of my option choice within 30 days of final statement date. FAILURE to act on options 1, 2 or 3 within said 30 days will result in the items becoming the property of WhatWinnersWear.
I understand that all items I consign with What Winners Wear sell be in good condition and clean prior to consignment of the item. If What Winners Wear needs to have an item laundered or cleaned to be able to sell, charges for those services will be deducted from my commission check. What Winners Wear agrees that if an item does not sell and is returned to me, the item will be in the same condition as when it was consigned.
I understand it is my responsibility to keep What Winners Wear of all address, phone number, email changes and corrections.
What Winners Wear is not liable for loss of consigned items through fire, theft, vandalism or natural disaster. This contract overrides and supersedes all preexisting contracts with What Winners Wear.
